At the present time Southend (London) International Airport is - as you can all see - called Southend (London) International Airport.
It is in fact in the County of Essex.
The international airport for the East Midlands is named after a local English hero : Robin Hood, who - unlike airlines - stole from the rich and gave to the poor.
